Start your journey
Start your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working and be supported along the way.
This pathway provides 12 months of support.

Want to begin your career in early childhood education? Studying towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the first step!
Be supported by our educator coaches to attend classes in person or explore flexible study options that best meet your needs.

Once enrolled to study, you will have opportunities to work casually or part-time at an early learning centre in the ACT.
Be mentored to apply what you’re studying, receive on the job training and learn best practice from experienced educators.
You will build relationships with children and families and be part of a growing community of early childhood education professionals.

You can access support through your own educator coach, to help you balance work, study, life commitments and most importantly, your own wellbeing.
You will be supported to develop your goals, identify any challenges, and be empowered to embrace your new career.
If you have children under 5 years, your coach can also help you to enrol them at a centre while you work and study.

Previous experience in early childhood education is not required!

Successful participants will need to commit to actively studying towards their Certificate III to remain engaged with the program.
