Early Learning Connection provides flexible career pathways in early childhood education.
Join us and be supported in the profession, with other women just like you.
Choose from our flexible pathways, where you will be supported to study, work and receive coaching.
Grow your career
Try the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth to 5 Years) at the University of Canberra and grow your career as an Early Childhood Teacher.
This pathways provides at least 6 months of support.

You will be given financial assistance to study introductory units towards the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth to 5 Years).
Classes:
Attend one class per semester (two hours per week) at the University of Canberra, or receive support to explore flexible study options
Your employer can also receive free support through our program to apply for the Government’s Paid Practicum Subsidy to support you while you complete any placement requirements
Credit for prior studies:
If you already hold a completed ACEQA-accredited Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher, you may be eligible to receive a credit upon application for up to a year, shortening your degree to just two years of full-time study*
Relevant Diploma qualifications are equivalent to 8 units (24 credit points)
After only 12 months with Early Learning Connection, you will have studied two units (6 credit points), and completed over 40% of your Bachelor Degree!
You will then be assisted with a “Next Steps Plan” to continue with the degree independently

Flexible and supported entry into the degree enables you to continue working in your current role.
Our program can provide free employer support to ensure your service has strategies in place to enable you to attend any placement requirements throughout your studies.

You will have your own coach to help you balance work, study, life commitments and most importantly, your own wellbeing.
You will be supported to develop your goals, identify any challenges, and be empowered to embrace your new career.
If you have children under 5 years, and need care, your coach can help you enrol them at a centre while you work and study.

A relevant Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required. Please contact us if your Diploma was completed 10 or more years ago and we can help you to explore your options!
